[Class 96] A shoe sock &c. comprises an under layer 10 of soft, resilient felt paper made moistureproof by coating or impregnating or by mixing the pulp with paper-makers' " pitch," i.e. bitumens, asphalt, residues from distillation of oil, rubber, &c., adhered to a layer 11 of smooth kraft paper &c. The felt paper may be made from waste sacks, flock dust, waste papers, &c. and contain minute air spaces.
