Abstract
482,864. Speed governors. SOC. ANON. A. SAURER. Aug. 20, 1937, No. 22926. Convention date, Aug. 24, 1936. [Class 57] [Also in Group XXVII] A centrifugal governor 6 is mounted on the shaft of a fuel-injection pump 1 and adjusts one end of a lever 18 the other end of which is connected to a spring loaded piston 31 subjected to the delivery pressure of a blower 26 driven by a turbine supplied with the exhaust gases of the engine. An abutment 36 limits the movement of the regulating rack 3 of the fuelinjection pump in the direction of maximum delivery. Instead of the piston 31, a speed governor driven by the turbine may be connected to the lever 18.
