Abstract

A piston is made from an aluminium alloy containing 0,5-1,5 per cent of copper, 12,5-14,5 per cent of silicon, 0,75-1 per cent of magnesium, 1 per cent of iron, 2-3 per cent of nickel, 1,05 per cent of zinc, and 0,05 per cent of manganese.
