Abstract

[Class 44] [Also in Group XIV] In clamps for supporting shelves 6 on the pillars 4 of display stands, of the type comprising a block 1 with two through grooves 2, 3 at right-angles and clamping screw pins in one wall of each groove, the groove 2 adapted to engage the pillar has an inwardly overhanding projection 9 at the entrance behind which the pillar takes under the action of the screw 5. Fig. 2 shows the projection as integral with the clamp, while Fig. 4 shows projections formed by overhanging parts of the heads of two screws 10.
