[Class 78 (i)] Materials such as are used in the manufacture of glass are mixed and passed to a furnace by means of a conveyer comprising a number of rotary paddles 10 placed side by side within a confined space 13 having a scalloped base 11, the blades of each paddle being out of phase with those of the adjacent paddles.
