Abstract

465,625. Cigarette &c. packages. BOXALL, A., and MOLINS MACHINE CO., Ltd. Dec. 30, 1935, No. 35951. [Class 94 (i)] A wrapper which is folded into U-shape about a batch of cigarettes or other articles and is inserted in an outer container, e.g. of the slide and shell type, comprises two separate strips 6, 7, one slightly overlapping the other, so that by pulling the end 11 of the narrower strip the cigarettes at the side of the container may be withdrawn slightly to facilitate removal. The Provisional Specification refers to a modification in which the wrapper is divided by a slit extending from the edge of the longer limb of the U to a point a short distance along the shorter limb.
