[Class 40 (v)] In a superheterodyne receiver using a diode first detector a resist. ance 3 is arranged in series with the inter. mediate frequency output 2 interconnecting the anode and cathode of the diode. The input and local oscillating circuits 1, 6 serially arranged are connected in series with a condenser 4 in parallel with the resistance 3, Fig. 4, or are connected in series with the resistance 3 which is then in parallel with the condenser 4, Fig. 3.
