Abstract

459,261. Lifeboats. BOXBERG, L. G. W., 13A, Fabriksgatan, Helsingfors, Finland. March 13, 1936, No. 7580. [Class 113 (ii)] A lifeboat comprises a hollow shell 1 of oblate spheroidal form. The entrance door 3 is provided with locking means 4, 5, which may be operated from within the container. An anchor 21 which serves also as keel is provided the anchor chain working in the tube 24. The equipment of the lifeboat includes a window 10, in valves 13, 14, ladder 16, signalling device 12. The lifeboat may be handled by a single davit.
