[Class 100 (i)] Delivery apparatus.-Apparatus for preventing folded products from nesting one within another as they are delivered from rollers 1, 2 of a folding-machine to a conveyer-band 6 comprises a spring arm 8 mounted on one of the side guides 7 beneath which the open end of the product 4 is forced by a pneumaticallyoperated plunger 16 as it leaves the rollers 1, 2. The arm 8 carries a sheet-engaging roller 9. The plunger 16 is connected to a piston 15 the underside of which communicates with a suction device but is normally kept at atmospheric pressure by an opening 14, so that a spring 19 retains the plunger 16 in its raised position. Holes 18 keep the space above the piston at atmospheric pressure. A product 3 leaving the rollers 1, 2 engages a spring so as to close the opening 14. Suction then operates on the lower face of the piston 15 to cause the plunger 16 to move downwardly and push the product past the spring 8. Near its lowest position the piston 15 opens the suction conduit to the space above it at atmospheric pressure, thereby allowing the flap 13 to spring back to its normal open position and allowing the spring 19 to return the plunger to its raised position. The conveyer band 6 may be arranged to travel in the same direction as the sheets leaving the machine.
