457,599. Screw propellers. RIGBY, F. G., and RIGBY, P. N. R., 25, Stubb's Lane, Newcastle, Staffordshire. June 15, 1936, No. 16597. [Class 114] The blades of a screw propeller are made in two parts, the joining line of which B<1> is tangential to boss and then curves gently towards the tip. The two parts are set at different angles of pitch and the rear portion B is provided with extensions which form a gap between them and the driving shaft.
