[Classes 99 (i) and 99 (ii)] [See also Groups I and XXIX] An arrangement for connecting an antisiphon pipe S to a waste-pipe in a drainage system comprises a waste-pipe section H having a non-return flap-valve P protecting an outlet D from the anti-siphon pipe against the flow of liquid thereinto, the section H being fixedly connected to a cradle C embodying the outlet D and adapted to be turned about a fixed point F for varying the amount of fall given to the waste-pipe section H, the extremity of a fixed junction member G connected to the anti-siphon pipe S being seated within the cradle. The extremity comprises a pair of sector-shaped troughs W which communicate by a pipe N so that they may be filled with water for an indication of the horizontal during adjustment, drainage holes J being provided ; further the troughs may be filled, after fixing, with cement or be covered with metal.
