Abstract
452,010. Scissors &c. BAKER, R. H., 57, Chillerton Road, Tooting, London. Feb. 13, 1935, No. 4622. [Class 30] One blade 7 is pivoted at 10 to the other 6 and geared by teeth 12, 13 with its handle 9 which is also pivoted to the other part at 11, the blade 6 and its handle 8 being preferably co-linear. The teeth may be helical or so shaped as to press the blades together. To facilitate movement of the scissors, rollers may be fitted to the edge 6<a> of the blade 6 and to the edge 14 of the handle 8. The Provisional Specification states that instead of toothed gearing, lazy tongs, toggle, friction, eccentrics or other suitable device may be used. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to British Specification 419,649, [Group XXIII], and U.S.A. Specification 1,915,404.
