Abstract

446,784. Knitted fabrics. WILDT & CO., Ltd., and HOLMES, H. H., Adelaide Works, Leicester. March 19, 1935, No. 8526. [Class 74 (ii)] A fabric is made, on a four feeder dial or other knitting-machine from two contrasting yarns which are taken by all the dial needles and by selected cylinder needles at each feed. The selected needles tuck at feeds 1 and 2 and clear at feeds 3 and 4. A fabric with vertical tuck loop wales in the two contrasting colours on the face and with a mixed colour effect on the back is thus obtained.
