446,325. Fuel injectors. BOSCH AKT.-GES., R., 4, Militõrstrasse, Stuttgart, Germany. Oct. 12, 1935, No. 28199. Convention date, Oct. 12, 1934. [Class 7 (iii)] In a fuel injector having a valve b in a nozzle body a opened by fuel pressure against the action of a spring c, one end of the spring bears against a hollow cap screwed on to the nozzle body, and fuel is supplied through a pipe n connected to the cap d. The fuel passes to the valve seat through passages p, q in the cap d, an annular groove r and passages s, in the nozzle body. The lift of the valve is limited by a stop k. The nozzle body is provided either with a surface g to which a spanner may be applied to screw a portion f into the engine cylinder, or with a shoulder which is forced into contact with a corresponding shoulder in the cylinder by a fastening flange.
