[Class 29] [See also Group XVII] A vacuum flask with a lever closure 11 has the lever 15 mounted on a holding bail 10 fitted tc a ring 16 of artificia material such as porcelain, phenolic compound &c. The ring has sockets for the ends of the bai and is outwardly flared at the lower end thereof. In a modification the ring is extended upwardly to form a seating for the closure, and is provided with a pouring lip. The closing lever 15 may be formed from a single piece of wire which is looped over the bail and conforms in shape to the usual outer cap.
