[Class 18] A box comprises a bottom member b, a lid, and one or more trays secured by horizontal hinges to the lid or to the member b and adapted to be moved horizontally in a longitudinal or transverse direction to provide access to the contents of the member b. A plurality of superposed trays may be employed. The back c<1>, Fig. 2, of a tray may be connected to a hinged lid so that, as the latter is raised, the tray slides backwards and it can then be tilted into a vertical position, or the trays c<4>, c<5>, Fig. 5, are connected by hinges d to the side walls of member b so that they can be slid horizontally outwards and then tilted through 90‹.
