The plunger has a moistening pad s which is not compressed but can withdraw fluid from the space within the compressed pad g. The plunger p is guided on a tube f in a threaded lid d. A flange k on the plate h is perforated and made smaller in diameter than the guide tube f. The bottom of the vessel is provided with a cavity y.
