434,519. Collars for personal wear. HONIGSBERG, R., 28A, Maxingasse, Vienna. Feb. 4, 1935, No. 3607. Convention date, Feb. 9, 1934. [Class 141] Means for stiffening soft or semi-stiff double collars comprise a stiffener 6 provided at its upper end with a cross piece 17, preferably oblique to the stiffener and engaging in a loop or pocket 18 on the collar band, the stiffener 6 being arranged obliquely to the front edge and to the fold of the collar with its lower end in a pocket 13 at the tip of the collar. In the modification shown in Fig. 3, the arms 17<a>, 17<b> of the cross piece are passed through slots 21, 22 in the collar band.
