Abstract
434,171. Oil engines. DAIMLERBENZ AKT.-GES., Untert³rkheim, Stuttgart, Germany. Jan. 28, 1935, No. 2804. Convention date, Jan. 26, 1934. [Class 7 (iii)] A passage b leads from an engine cylinder past a fuel-injection nozzle e and continues coaxially with the nozzle until it enters tangentially a combustion chamber a of spherical cylindrical or ellipsoidal form. The entrance to the passage b is closed by the piston at the end of the compression stroke. The lower part of the chamber a is formed in a part g, which is held in position by a nut h and is provided with grooves i to lessen the transference of heat.
