Abstract
433,951. Domestic ovens. DARBY, H. G., 39, Broad Street, Birmingham. Feb. 23, 1934, No. 5937. Addition to 409,994, [Group XIII]. [Class 126] In a modification of the invention described in the parent Specification as applied to an externallyheated domestic oven or the like, the oven flue space is baffled by projections 16 pressed from the wall 9 of the jacket (or it may be from the oven wall) and arranged in staggered or zig-zag formation so that the flow of heating gases is subdivided into a number of sinuous streams. Insulation 13 is packed between the jacket and an outer casing and above the top flue are mounted warming chambers 10, also insulated. According to the Provisional Specification the baffles may be in the form of corrugations.
