Abstract
433,924. Valve generating circuits. LORENZ AKT.-GES., C., 1, Lorenzweg, Tempelhof, Berlin. Feb. 4, 1935, No. 3563. Convention date, Feb. 5, 1934. [Class 40 (v)] With the object of preventing load variations from affecting the frequency of a valve oscillator R1 feeding an amplifier R2, magnetic back coupling L1, L2 is used in the oscillator, and capacity coupling is used for coupling the oscillator to the amplifier. The oscillatory circuit of the valve R1 comprises a coil L1 and a split or tapped condenser C1. Back coupling is effected wholly by magnetic coupling of the coil L1 to a grid coil L2, and other accidental coupling is balanced out by a variable condenser N1. A tapping E on the split condenser C1 is earthed, and another tapping A is connected to the grid of the amplifier R2. Back coupling of this amplifier is avoided by connecting its anode through a variable condenser N2 to a tapping B on that side of the earthed tapping E opposite to the tapping A. The known connection indicated by the dotted line G is not used.
