432,231. Endless - belt conveyers. SUTCLIFFE, Ltd., R., Universal Works, and SHEPPARD, J., Dyehouse, Benton Hill, both in Horbury, near Wakefield. March 17, 1934, No. 8432. [Class 78 (i)] An endless-belt conveyer 3 is driven by being passed around three or a greater odd number of directly intergeared positively driven drums 1 mounted in a common frame 2 in the same plane or, as shown, approximately so, with the middle drum somewhat lower than the others. This arrangement permits either left or right-hand working of conveyers for transporting coal along the coal face in mines.
