Abstract

431,250. Spools for paper &c. webs. PIERPONT, F. H., Oakfield, Redhill, Surrey, and MONOTYPE CORPORATION, Ltd., 43, Fetter Lane, London. Jan. 21, 1935, No. 1957. [Class 100 (i)] A spool for paper &c. comprises a hollowspindle A, a flange B secured on one end thereof, and a second flange D secured to a bush C loosely fitting into the other end of the spindle A. A flat spring &c. E secured by a rivet C<1> to the bush C holds the end of the paper &c. The end of the spring &c. E enters a hole in the flange D. The rivet C<1> slides in a slot A<1> in the spindle A.
