[Class 69 (i)] [See also Groups XVIII and XXVI] In water meters having cathodic parts, e.g. of bronze or copper, and a part, such as the base, of iron or anodic material, corrosion of the anodic element is prevented by a coating of vitreous enamel. The coating is sufficiently thick to allow machining.
