[Classes 52 (ii) and 52 (v)] [See also Group XXII] A bracket, brace, or similar article of the kind formed with a double web a<2> made from a piece of sheet material by pressure bending, flanged on both sides along the whole or portions of its lateral edges c<2>, d<2>, and provided with strengthening ribs or corrugations b2, has the diagonal edge a<3> made straight and sharp. The rib b<2> is parallel to the edge a<3>. The flanges c<2>, d<2>, Fig. 6, may be shaped to conform to the members e, f, to be connected.
