Abstract
426,046. Window frames; glazing. GODIN, A. A., 142, Uxbridge Road, Shepherd's Bush, London. July 20, 1933, No. 20487. [Class 20 (iii)] A glass panel or the like 12 having a resilient edging channel 13, is clamped against the bent flange 3 of a frame member by an inverted channel 14 interposed against a bead or ledge 2 on the outer edge of the frame. The frame is fixed by countersunk screws in an extension 15, or by bolts the heads of which are concealed by beading 6 and packing washers 10, Fig. 3. The channel may have a diagonal cut in its outer side and preferably has an opening to facilitate insertion and removal, and the lip may be cut and pressed into this opening to position the channel.
