Abstract

420,114. Spectacle cases. WHEWAY, F. H., 214, Barr Street, Birmingham. Aug. 11, 1933, No. 22450. [Class 97 (i)] A case for spectacles or eyeglasses consists of a front member a and rear member b spaced apart to enable the spectacles to be inserted and held between them. The upper edge of the member a is centrally recessed as shown to facilitate access to the spectacles, and this edge may also be flared outwardly to facilitate insertion of the spectacles. The upper edge of the member b may be bent over to overhang the space between the members a, b, and retaining flanges or stops may also be formed on. the member b. Abutment pieces h may be provided on the member a to contact with the lenses of the spectacles.
