Abstract

417,507. Drip catchers. HARRISON, D. D., 5, Whitehall, Ray Park Avenue, Maidenhead, Berkshire. March 6, 1933, No. 6806. [Classes 66 and 125 (i).] A drip catcher applicable to brushes and to liquid ejecting nozzles of various kinds comprises a ring shaped member having a plurality of cells 5, and is preferably of rubber and detachable. The device comprises a rubber ring, with a part 1 to engage the brush handle and a part 2 with a free edge 3 set back from the handle and with transverse ribs dividing the liquid chamber 2 into cells individually capable of retaining liquid when considerably tilted. Adjoining cells communicate near the annular entrance to the chamber.
