[Class 43.] A uniplanar buckle comprises a frame b having three transverse loops d, e, f bounded transversely by three undivided cross-bars and one divided cross-bar b<1>, and a fourth loop k<1> provided longitudinally upon the outer side of one of the two longitudinal side bars of the frame and bounded on the outer side by a divided longitudinal bar k. In use, with a sock suspender, one end of a leg-band g is threaded through the loops d, e, f and the other end carries a loop g<1> which is engaged with the divided bar b <1>. The suspender fastener m carries a loop l which is engaged with the divided bar k. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 comprises also constructions wherein the longitudinal loop is dispensed with and the frame has three or four transverse loops, one transverse outer bar, or the bar separating the outer loop and its adjacent loop, being divided. A trouser fitting may be secured at one end of the frame and braces threaded through from the other end ; or one looped end of a band may be engaged with the divided bar and the other end threaded through the frame. The frame may be formed of wire loops coupled together and may carry a suspender fastener. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
