[Class 38 (i).] The ends of the wire of a coil 8 are passed through registering holes in fibre discs 44, 45, the lower 44 of which is then turned out of register to draw the wire ends over contact-strips 46 on the lower disc 44, the discs being held together by an end-screw 49. The leads 411 are secured to contactplates 43 forming part of the strips 46 and passing through the disc 44.
