403,628. Hinge pins. SPECIALLOID, Ltd., and TURNER, E., Friern Park, North Finchley, London. June 17, 1932, No. 17188. [Class 65 (ii).] A device foi preventing endwise movement of gudgeon pins &c. comprises two segmental members 1 engaging a groove 2 in the bearing or in the pin, Fig. 10, and retained in position by a diametral spring 5, 15 or two parallel springs. The members may be hinged or integrally connected at 16 and are provided with holes 7 to accommodate a tool for compressing the spring when inserting or removing the device. The springs are supported by projections 6 which may overlap or may have interengaging portions for guiding the segments when inserting or moving the device.
