Abstract

400,689. Speed governors. HEINZMANN, M. J., Koetzschenbroda, Saxony, Germany. May 10, 1932, No. 13499. [Class 57.] A centrifugal governor comprises weights g integrally combined with angle levers directly engaging the governor sleeve. The weights are loaded by springs d engaging spring supports f, the arms e of which fit in slots in the weights. The supports are formed of stamped sheet metal. For low speeds the weights may be formed of pressed casings filled with lead i, the lead spaces being closed by sheets a soldered or riveted to the weights. For high speeds further springs may be stretched between the arms e and passing through holes in the weights.
