[Class 40 (v).] A n oscillator o f the Barkhausen-Kurtz type having the grid of the valve 1 at high positive potential and a small bias on the anode is keyed by interrupting the grid voltage at note frequency. A mechanical or vacuum switch type of interrupter may be used or as shown a valve 4 may serve as an interrupter.
