Abstract
388,246. Massage. DEGLESNE, J. M. P., 6, Rue de Vernon, Annonay, Ardeche, France. April 20, 1932, No. 11358. Convention date, April 24, 1931. [Class 81 (ii).] A device for use in shaving and massaging comprises a mount 1, Fig. 1, of metal, wood, or other material, in which are set thick cylindrical fingers 3 of rubber &c. These fingers may also be mounted between tufts 2, Fig. 3, of bristles. The fingers 3 may be of different forms, solid or hollow, closed or open in tube form inflated or not, and with undulated or perforated surfaces 4, 5, 6 as in Fig. 6. In another modification, Fig. 5, curved massaging members 7 are grouped with undulated membranes 8 and bristle tufts 2. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 2975/93, 11799/04, [both in Class 19, Brushing &c.], 152,060, 308,709, [both in Class 81 (ii), Medical &c. appliances], and 365,496.
