[Class 99 (ii).] In a pipe-cleaner of the kind comprising a collapsable body formed of a number of helically bent resilient wires a each carrying a scraping coil d of steel wire, the wires a being supported between end members b, c, the coils d are made with an internal diameter substantially equal to the external diameter of the wires a and the pitch of the convolutions thereof is such that the active portions of the coils will be disposed substantially at right-angles to the direction of movement of the tool. The end members b, c may be urged towards each other by a spring.
