Abstract

384,618. Cases for tickets and photographs. ABDERMAN, W., 22, Senatorska, Warsaw. Aug. 16, 1932, No. 22939. Convention date, Aug. 17, 1931. [Class 18.] A case for a season ticket &c. and a photograph comprises two separate frames detachably connected together, the photograph frame having an internal locking device inaccessible from outside and releasable only by destruction of the photograph frame. The ticket frame 2 comprises a sheet-metal pocket with apertured front and back walls and an end cap 3 and side flanges 4. The photograph frame is of sheet metal and is adapted to slide between the flanges 4, and it comprises a compartment 6 for the photograph and a compartment 7 into which can slide a metal plate 8 carrying an end cap 10. The plate 8 has a returned end constituting a spring tongue 12 which, when the plate 8 is pushed into its compartment, engages a catch 14 on the partition 13 separating the compartments 6, 7, and prevents the photograph from being removed without destroying its frame. The caps 3, 10 fit over the ends of both frames. The two compartments 6, 7 may be replaced by only one compartment. The positions of the tongue 12 and catch 14 may be interchanged, and the catch 14, which preferably has a waved edge, is formed by doubling over the partition 13 or may be constituted by a cross-piece secured to the partition.
