384,098. Reservoir brushes. HOPE, F. T., 422, Leary Building, Seattle, Washing- ton, U.S.A. Dec. 21, 1931, No. 35318. [Class 19.] A shaving-appliance comprises a safety razor of the clamped-blade type with a rubber brush 40 carried in the centre of the clamp-plate 10, the handle 8 carrying a cartridge 39 of soap which is extruded through a hole 28 at the brush centre by a piston 33 actuated by a screw 34 secured in a rotatable head 35. The blade 9 is preferably of Maltese-cross four-edged form, the clamp 10 and guard 11 being formed to correspond.
