Abstract

383,086. Mine props. PATON, J., Central Workshops, Cowdenbeath, Fifeshire. Dec. 14, 1931, No. 34558. [Class 20 (ii).] Head and foot fittings are secured to section-metal pit props by riveting or spotwelding. The head B may be rounded and the foot C pointed, or both head and foot may be rounded. The head may be flat or corrugated, or both head and foot formed of truncated-wedge section with flat bearing portions. Reference has been directed by the Comptroller to Specifications 13528/99, 7148/04, [both in Class 20, Buildings &c.], 115,956 and 269,571, [both in Class 20 (ii), Buildings and structures, Miscellaneous accessories &c.].
