Abstract
382,286. Valve circuits. MARCONI INTERNATIONAL MARINE COMMUNICATION CO., Ltd., Marconi House, Strand, and LANDALE, S. E. A., 62, Pont Street, both in London. July 21, 1931, No. 20863. [Class 40 (v).] The output circuit of self-oscillating detecting valve V includes an output impedance Z, a second impedance R2 for deriving voltage for feeding back to the input circuit L1, C1, and a third impedance C4 in shunt across the internal impedance of the valve. The output impedance is large relative to the resistance R2, which is approximately equal to the impedance of the valve. The voltage is fed back to the input circuit through a variable condenser C3. According to modifications, the resistance R2 is variable, Fig. 2 (not shown), or is replaced by a choke, Fig. 3 (not shown) ; the grid leak R1 and condenser C2 are omitted, Fig. 4 (not shown).
