381,712. Foldable boxes. MILLIGAN, J. L., Grange Fell, Leigh Woods, Bristol, and RICKETT, COCKERELL & CO., Ltd., 52, Mark Lane, London. Sept. 30, 1931, No. 27184. [Class 18.] A foldable box of millboard &c. for holding coal &c., formed from the blank shown in Fig. 1, panels g, h, j, k forming the sides of the box and flaps n, o, the flaps n being cut away as shown, forming the top and bottom of the box, is characterized in that the width of the sides g, h is slightly greater than that of the sides j, k to allow the box to lie flat when collapsed. The material of the box may be impregnated, e.g. with wax, to make it waterproof and also useful as a fire-lighter. It may be also scored to make for easy destruction after the contents have been used.
