Abstract

378,659. Luggage-carriers. BROOKES, F. S., 224, Lichfield Road, Aston, and GEE, A., 70A, Charlotte Street, Birmingham. Sept. 3, 1931, No. 24733. [Class 136 (i).] A luggage-carrier of adjustable size for cycles &c. comprises a main platform 1, 2 and laterally-extensible side frames formed of longitudinal bars 6 connected to the main platform by pivoted links 3, so that they can be swung out in their own plane as shown to increase the lateral dimensions of the carrier or swung inwards on to the main platform. Intermediate links 8 have notches at inner ends to engage stop studs 7 on the main plat - form when the side frames are fully extended.
