378,244. Loud-speakers. IDEAL WERKE AKT.-GES. FUR DRAHTLOSE TELEPHONIE, 97, Grosse Leegestrasse, Hohenschonhausen, Berlin. Sept. 28, 1931, No. 27025. Convention date, July 18. [Class 40 (iv).] An electromagnetic actuating unit for a loud-speaker comprises a single pressed or cast framework 1 to which the magnet 2 and poleshoes 3, 4 are secured by screws 15, 16, 17, the coil 6 is secured at 7, one end of the reed 9 is secured at 8 and the leads 11 for the coil 6 are secured at 12. The framework is also formed with flanges 14 for fixing it to the loud-speaker chassis or other mounting frame. The reed 9 passes through the coil 6 and its free end oscillates past the poles 3, 4.
