377,895. Drilling wells. NAAMLOOZE VENNOOTSCHAP DE BATAAFSCHE PETROLEUM MAATSCHAPPIJ, 30, Carel van Bylandtlaan, The Hague. Jan. 21, 1932, No. 1890. Convention date, Feb. 20, 1931. [Class 85.] Mud flush used in drilling wells is subjected on leaving the borehole to a partial vacuum, combined if desired with a heat treatment, so as to liberate gases taken up in the borehole. The flush is then led through settling ditches &c. for separation of cuttings and removal of oil, and then to a reservoir supplying the pumps.
