[Classes 7 (ii) and 7 (vi).] In a radial cylinder engine the piston rods 4 carry rollers which run in an elliptic or like groove 6 formed in the divided flywheel 12. A cam 10 on this wheel controls the inlet and exhaust valves 8, 8<1>. Either the shaft or the cylinder block or both may rotate.
