371,892. Spark-plug casings and couplings. WRIGHT AERONAUTICAL CORPORATION, Paterson, New Jersey, U.S.A.-(Assignees of Gagg, R. F.; 5, Manor Avenue, Fairlawn, New Jersey, U.S.A.) Jan. 29, 1931, No. 2946. Convention date, July 31, 1930. [Class 7 (iv).] For preventing interference ' with radio signals the spark plug is enclosed in a metallic casing 11. An insulating cap 17 sheathed with metal 27 closes the casing 11 and is retained by a bail 16. The high-tension cable 24 is secured by a metal union consisting of screwed sleeves 19, 21 and is in contact with a cap 25 surrounding a spring 26 which presses against the top of the plug. The casing 11 may be ribbed for cooling and be extended to form a bush between the plug and cylinder. Specification 363,201 is referred to.
