369,869. Mine supports ; struts. RICHARDS, F., 14, Brynheulog. Street, Port Talbot, Glamorgan. Sept. 14, 1931, No. 25768. [Class 20 (ii).] Mine arches are strutted apart by means of struts having shouldered ends adapted to engage through slots in the arch members. The struts 6, 7 are grooved at their ends which are inserted in keyhole slots 2 and secured therein by wedges 8. For angle-section struts, the ends are formed as shown at 10, Fig. 8, and for flat bars as at 10, Fig. 10, for reception in a rectangular slot 4, Fig. 9. Round struts may have their ends beaten flat before being recessed.
