369,575. Valve generating circuits. MARCONI'S WIRELESS TELEGRAPH CO., Ltd., Marconi House, Strand, London, WITT, B. J., 19, Hawthorne Avenue, Eastcote, Middlesex, and FRANKLIN, C. S., Marconi House, Strand, London. Dec. 20, 1930, No. 38456. [Class 40 (v).] A short-wave oscillation generator comprises a master frequency - determining circuit LC coupled to the grid of an amplifier valve V1, and a second amplifier valve V2 having its grid coupled to the plate of the valve V1, and its plate coupled back to the master circuit LC. The output is taken from the V1 to the grid of a coupling-valve SV of the screen-grid type, the plate circuit of which includes a circuit L1, C1 tuned to the master frequency or to a harmonic thereof. Grid resistances GR1, GR2 and plate resistances AR1, AR2 are provided for the valves V1, V2 respectively. A resistance SR between the grid of valve V2 and its - coupling condenser prevents unwanted os. cillations. The master circuit LC, the coupling condensers X, Y and the screen E are preferably embodied in a unit constructed as described in Specification 335,526, [Class 40 (v), Wireless signalling &c.].
