[Class 109.] The closing die a of a wire stranding machine is secured in a sleeve b mounted in ball or roller bearings so that it can rotate in accordance with the forces exerted by the wire strands. The bearings for the sleeve b may be supported on a fixed bracket f, or on a frame which rotates with the bobbin-carrying cage.
