366,460. Toothbrushes ; hand -tool handles. DELOIRE, A., 11, Avenue de Suffren, and LIBOUTON, G. DE, 17, Rue Portalis, both in Paris. Aug. 1, 1930, No. 23293. Convention date, Oct. 8, 1929. Void [Published under Sect. 91 of the Acts]. [Classes 19 and 61 (i).] A toothbrush with a renewable bristle-holding element 2, Fig. 1, comprises a frame in the form of a loop 1 having arms which enclose the bristle element, the frame being extended beyond the loop to form a handle. Means, such as a sleeve 5, are provided to engage and disengage the ends of the frame to hold the element 2 and a handle element 4 in position. Movement of the sleeve 5 right or left allows release of the parts 2, 4. In a modification, Fig. 4, the frame 1 is extended through a handle member 7 to engage a threaded head 6 which secures the frame together. The handle 7 may have a rib 8 for supporting the brush.
