364,492. Clips. UNITED-CARR FASTENER CORPORATION, 31, Ames Street, Cambridge, Massachusetts, U.S.A.- (Assignees of Smith, A. J. ; 7565, East Six Mile Road, Detroit, Michigan, U.S.A.) May 21, 1931, No. 15084. Convention date, May 29, 1930. [Class 44.] A sheet-metal or wire clip embracing the edge of a car covering has a spring stud on one limb for engagement with a socket on the car. The stud is of rose form or is bent up from the metal of the clip itself, Fig. 6, being split at 40 to give resiliency. The lower arm 70 of the clip may be stamped out of the upper. In other modifications, Figs. 4 and 5, the clip and stud are formed from a single piece of wire.
